A 508 511 was just about the 80th percentile, so this is the score to shoot for. This was based on percentiles, considering that the MCAT has always been competitive and that it has always demanded that you be about among the top 20% in the nation. Next Step was telling everybody that an MCAT score of 508 511 is the new number to shoot for. Ever since the switch to the new MCAT in 2015, the mantra at Blueprint MCAT (formerly Next Step Test Prep) has been “508 is the new 30.” (30 was often cited as the score to shoot for on the old MCAT.) The nationwide average MCAT score for people who got accepted into allopathic (MD) programs in the US was about 509.

I plan to keep using ditki through med school and/or my SMP. And like I said, each tutorial has a quiz and each section has a comprehensive exam to review.
I am a very visual and hands-on learner, so drawing alongside the tutorials really helped cement the images and study material into my mind. I personally enjoy drawing as a stress reliever, so by coupling my MCAT studying with something I enjoyed doing, I was able to actually stick to a study plan. IMO, I think the tutorials are very informative and present material in a very "digestable" way. I used ditki for all of my biology, biochemistry, and anatomy MCAT studying. I would then use Anki cards alongside this. I used the tutorials to learn the concepts and then used ditki's quizzes and exams to review.
Like I said, ditki helped me raise my MCAT by 9 points and helped me end with an upward trend in GPA. When I thought about the price, I realized I spent (at least) $15 a month on coffee, so I figured why not spend $15 a month to better myself.
In my personal and honest review, I think the program is completely worth its weight in gold. I'm currently using it to pre-study anatomy for med school/SMP in the fall. I will say I increased my MCAT by 9 points when I added on ditki and began using anki cards. I used Draw It To Know It for MCAT studying and to complement some of my later pre-req classes in undergrad.
